Applications close soon for the Michael King Writers’ Centre sixth residential workshop, Publishing Now.
This three-day residential workshop in November will provide
writers with thorough understanding of what is happening in publishing today
and how to go about having work published.
The workshop will feature many of New Zealand’s leading
publishers and publishing experts in a relaxed setting. There will be fewer
than 30 participants, so sessions will be informal and interactive. The final
session will be a publishers’ lunch, with representatives from the country’s
leading publishing houses.

The workshop is aimed at published authors and mid-career
writers. Places will be limited. Applications close on 25 August 2014.
