I am really thrilled to be able to tell you that I won the Barry Award tonight for Best British Crime Novel of 2011 - Dead Man's Grip!!!! Thank you so much for all of you who voted for me - I am so lucky to have such wonderful support from you. I am thrilled to bits to have won my first ever literary award in the USA - and such a prestigious one.
