Teen Hour on Mondays, 7pm – 8pm  
Teen Career Advice, Monday 30th July 2012, 7-8pm at Takapuna Library
A Careers NZ advisor will be talking about CV writing, what employers want, and the world of work in today's difficult economy.

Teen Digital Evening,  Monday 6th August 2012, 7-8pm at Takapuna Library
Come and learn how to get the most out of your phones, cameras and computers

Reads for Teens With Doris Mousdale,  Monday 13th August 2012, 7-8pm at Takapuna Library
Hear Doris’ recommendations for teenage readers.
 Doris, of Arcadia Books in Newmarket, is a lively & entertaining speaker who will enthral all who hear her.  Doris will also advise on adult books suitable for teens.

Tuesday 21 August at 12 noon, Max Cryer will speak about his latest book Curious English Words and Phrases: the Truth Behind the Expressions We Use. $2 admission.
Monday 27 August, 6pm, the launch of Betty Gilderdale’s memoir – My Life in Two Halves
