The Royal Society of Literature Newsletter

Sleep talking
22 October, 7pm
The Royal Society

Poet Lavinia Greenlaw, novelist Jonathan Coe, neuroscientist Professor Russell Foster and playwright, novelist and poet Deborah Levy (pictured) discuss sleep. Why do we need to sleep? How can we interpret our dreams? And what is the relationship in writing between being ‘awake’ and ‘asleep’, in terms of what a writer knows and doesn’t know about what they are doing?

This event is free of charge to all with no advance booking. Doors open at 6pm and seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

This event will be BSL interpreted.
