They were meant to become a thing of the past – but sales of traditional books are going up - while those of downloads to e-readers are down, it was claimed yesterday.And it emerged that Britain's biggest book chain, Waterstones, is planning to scrap sales of Kindles after purchases slowed to a 'dribble', its chief executive told the Sunday Times.
