CALLING ALL TALENTED YOUNG DESIGNERS

The Publishers Association of New Zealand announces that entries for the Awa Press Young Designer of the Year Award 2011 are now open. Designers may enter their work for this prestigious award which recognises emerging talent in the field of book design. The winner will be presented with a cash prize of $1000 at the awards cocktail event in Auckland in August.

Entry is free and applications are welcomed from both publishers and designers.

The designer must be under 35 years of age as at 31 December 2010, must be a New Zealand citizen by birth or a New Zealand resident for at least two years prior to 31 December 2010, and must be currently resident in New Zealand.
