US AUTHOR CASSANDRA CLARE CAUSES A COMMOTION DOWN UNDER AS HUNDREDS OF FANS VOTE WITH THEIR FEET!

Cassandra Clare, (left), The New York Times' bestselling author of The Mortal Instruments series, has arrived in Australia to sold out venues and an unprecedented response from her Australian and New Zealand fans!

Speaking to packed-out audiences in Wellington, Auckland,
Sydney and Melbourne, Cassandra is delighted to finally meet her Kiwi and Aussie fans, saying:

"For years I have been receiving fan mail from my Australian and New Zealand readers, so it's wonderful to finally have the chance to come here and meet them!"

In Australia, Cassandra's adult fans were out in full force at the Sydney Writers’ Festival on Saturday 21st May, packing the venue to its 160-seat capacity, with approximately 80 dedicated fans outside the venue listening to the audio played through the speaker system.

That same night, at Kinokuniya's The Nephilim Ball, over 200 Sydneysiders filled out the ArtHouse Hotel for the chance to meet and greet Cassandra and have their books signed (images:
