Ingram Content Group Inc. today announced an agreement with Hachette UK, one of the largest and most diversified publishing groups in the United Kingdom, to archive and distribute the publisher’s e-content to partners worldwide through CoreSource®.Ingram’s CoreSource is an easy-to-use, online solution for the storage, management, and distribution of digital content. CoreSource delivers a secure, searchable content repository and a high-capacity data distribution network, allowing publishers to move digital content easily and swiftly form their organization to any channel partner globally.
“Our ability to reach the global market with our content in the desired formats is critical,” said Chris Emerson, Chief Operating Officer of Hachette UK. “Digital publishing is at the centre of our business and working with a publishing services leader such as Ingram Content Group helps us to deliver our content wherever and however it is wanted.”
Hachette UK currently manages a growing list of 5,000 titles in the CoreSource platform from its companies and imprints, including Headline Publishing Group, Hodder & Stoughton, John Murray, Orion Publishing Group, Octopus Publishing Group, Little, Brown Book Group, Hodder Education Group, and Hachette Children’s Books.
