There's been some outcry about Tim Robbins cancelling his April 30th date at the Powerstation. His promoters said it was because he wanted to extend his tour in Australia. The truth is his father died twelve days ago, and his mother Mary died on Sunday.I knew them both. Mary was my section leader in the New York Choral Society, and Gil, her husband, was one of the founders of the Highwaymen. They were both at my wedding. Incredible Lefties, musicians, great people.
So I think Tim Robbins' disgruntled fans should know.
