This weekend - the inaugural 'samesame but different' LGBTQI Writers Festival @ AUT in Auckland

It's kicking off this Friday night at 7pm. There's a medley of writers from the incredibly famous - Witi Ihimaera - the increasingly famous, Victor Rodger - stunning authors like Dr Joanne Drayton ("The Search for Anne Perry ") - novice authors like television and radio personality Alison Mau - right through to new voices, young LGBTQI authors coming through.
Saturday has a full day of sessions, all brought to you by Peter Wells, one of the founders of the astoundingly successful Auckland Writers Festival.
It's a chance to think, laugh, wonder and enquire about how we invent lives for ourselves and move on confidently towards a multi-layered accepting future.
