deep south journal 2013

Deep South is one of New Zealand's longest running electronic literary journals.

Established in 1995 by graduates of the University of Otago English and Linguistics department, the journal has published a wide range of new poetry, fiction and non-fiction, scholarly debate and review articles from New Zealand and elsewhere.

The current (2013) edition, edited by Catherine Dale and Lynley Edmeades, offers a comprehensive and exciting survey of New Zealand writing today, and is available now.
