Deep South is one of New Zealand's longest running
electronic literary journals.
Established in 1995 by graduates of the
University of Otago English and Linguistics department, the journal has
published a wide range of new poetry, fiction and non-fiction, scholarly debate
and review articles from New Zealand and elsewhere.
The current (2013) edition,
edited by Catherine Dale and Lynley Edmeades, offers a comprehensive and
exciting survey of New Zealand writing today, and is available now.
