TV journalist Tim Wilson writes about an interesting conversation with Sir Max Hastings, British journalist, editor, historian and author

I sat down recently for five minutes with Sir Max Hastings. He was tall, thin, and had sublime manners.
We talked about hard work, gardening, the ability of democracies to fight wars, Anzac Day, and his book ‘All Hell Let Loose’.
He told me he believed New Zealanders were the best fighters in World War Two. A curious compliment but one nonetheless…

Anyway, I thought it might intrigue you, and perhaps your readers.

Footnote: Thanks Tim, i found it most interesting as I am sure visitors to my blog will too.
