Home & Away launched in style in Auckland last night

In Home & Away editor Graeme Lay has pulled together a marvellous selection of award-winning travel stories by New Zealand writers.
Co-published by Travcom and New Holland Publishers the book was launched last night at The Heritage Hotel in Auckland by Travcom co-founder Gordon McLauchlan who took a humorous look at changes to travel and travel writing since Travcom was founded 21 years ago.
Graeme Lay responded and then several authors read from their stories featured in the book. It was a most enjoyable event.
Award for the furthest travelled to attend the function went to John Woods who had flown in from Raratonga where he is editor and part-owner of the daily Cook Island News
