New Zealand sculptor, photographer and installation artist Bill Culbert will present his work at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013

Art critic and cultural curmudgeon Hamish Keith (above) is more than a little displeased by Bill Culbert's selection pointing out in his always entertaining, sometimes acerbic column in this week's Listener that  he has "no problem with Bill Culbert's reputation and value as a sculptor'  but that "regardless of what it might say on his passport or birth certificate, he is a British sculptor, and has been one for half a century".

Anyway regardless of Hamish Keith's views (and I think they will have widespread support) Auckland's splendid specialist art bookseller Parsons is not letting the opportunity of the announcement pass without getting in a little promotion for Culbert related titles:
