Pippa Middleton signs with Penguin

Penguin has secured a book on how to entertain by Pippa Middleton, sister-in-law to Prince William.
Michael Joseph is believed to have paid close to £500,000 for world rights to the book, at auction and with five other publishers keen to acquire it. Cornerstone was the underbidder.
The book, which is yet to be titled, will cover entertaining as themed across the seasons, and will be informed by old-fashioned British values. It is likely to be published as a lavish, high-production hardback, in the style of Nigella Lawson, in autumn 2012.
Middleton is said to be very keen to do publicity for the book, which is not yet written and has been sold on concept.
