- THE advertising industry wants to ban industry websites from running anonymous comments by readers, amid fears slanderous, sexist and bigoted comments are damaging the industry.
Media understands the Communications Council has directly approached websites including Mumbrella and Campaign Brief, as well as trade magazines B&T and AdNews, in a bid to have them put a stop to anonymous comments online.
