QUEEN STREET WHITCOULLS STORE TIPPED TO BECOME FARMERS
According to a story by Anne Gibson in the NZ Herald today Whitcoulls Auckland flagship store on the corner of Queen and Victoria Streets could become a Farmers store.
This makes sense to The Bookman. After all they have a large Borders store a block or so up the road which could be converted to the Whitcoulls brand thus maintaining a high profile Queen Street location for that brand while gaining a prime spot for Farmers.
