Graham Norton’s advice snapped up by Blake

John Blake Publishing has made another acquisition for this autumn’s schedule, buying a collection of advice columns written by Graham Norton for his fortnightly slot in the Daily Telegraph.

Editor Michelle Signore bought world rights to Ask Graham via Norton’s agent Dylan Hearn. Ask Graham will offer advice on everything from relationships to retirement and religion to internet dating.
John Blake said: “We are all huge fans of Graham’s column and thought it would make a great book, so we approached his agent and they agreed.”
Norton is writing a new introduction for the book, and updating some of the advice for publication. “We didn’t ask him to, but he’s taking it very seriously,” said Blake.
“I think it could be huge—he is taking over from Jonathan Ross on Radio 2, and part of that will be talking to people about their problems and solving them, so the synergy is fantastic. His advice is so wise—that is what originally drew us to it.”

The book will be published in hardback, priced £10.99, in late October.
