This from the Monday issue of The Guardian - the shortlist for the Kim Scott Walwyn Prize.
With the dominance of women in all aspects of book publishing in New Zealand perhaps we will see the day when there will be an award here for male publishers!

He's hit on the main reason I left the book trade and married a good-looking scientist. Sorry to hear nothing has changed. Perhaps the women who now run the New Zealand book trade might tweak their hiring criteria?
