Bringing Jane Austen Novels to the Stage

The Acting Collective in association with The Jane Austen Society presents 'A Journey to bringing Jane Austen Novels to the Stage'. In 2016 The Acting Collective had a successful season with Jon Jory stage Adaption of Pride & Prejudice. This Valentines Day they Open with Jane Austen Persuasion written by Aucklander Tanya M. Wheeler. During the Morning you will hear from Christianne Van Wijk who co-created the company & her dream of bringing Pride & Prejudice to life. Tanya M. Wheeler will talk about turning Persuasion into a Modernised script. Aimee Olivia will talk about her journey as Elizabeth Bennet and she will also talk on behalf of the Director Terry Hooper about bringing Persuasion into the 1920's and much more. This event is for anyone who love's Jane Austen, theatre and the wonderful world of books. A FREE event, but it's limited to 40 people.
