The new Auckland Art Gallery turned two today - congratulations and happy birthday.

    Our new building turned two today! On 3 September 2011, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki reopened – restored and extended on its original site at the corner of Kitchener and Wellesley Streets. In the two years since, we are proud to have welcomed over 1,126,633 people through the doors, offered 498 visitor programmes and shown 28 exhibitions and 13 artist commissions. Thanks to everyone who has visited us!
