Scholastic
New Zealand’s Publishing Department is pleased to announce that it is now
accepting unsolicited manuscripts from New Zealand authors new to Scholastic, provided they have previously had a
manuscript accepted for publication by a New Zealand publisher in the past ten
years.
Previously
Scholastic New Zealand’s policy was that no unsolicited manuscripts were
accepted from authors not already on our list.
Scholastic
New Zealand is committed to publishing quality books for New Zealand children
by New Zealand authors and illustrators.
Previously
unpublished authors are encouraged to enter the Joy Cowley Award (picture
books) or Tom Fitzgibbon Award (junior & middle fiction) sponsored by
Scholastic and facilitated by Storylines: storylines.org.nz. Winners are published by
Scholastic New Zealand.
