Spilman and I conceived the idea of a cooperative press for maritime books
where the writers are all equal shareholders, and Old Salt Press was launched
on May 15, this year. It has been busy! So far, we have published
ten books, most in print as well as digitally, and one reasonably lengthy short
story.
We have taken on two great writers, and feel confident about a
very busy and interesting future. We're registered in New Jersey, and I
am the "affiliate in New Zealand".
