Maeve Binchy collection from Orion

Orion is to publish a collection of new fiction by the late author Maeve Binchy.

Chestnut Street, which will be released in May 2014, will be a collection of previously unpublished interlinked short stories. Binchy, who died in July last year, wrote the stories about characters living on the fictional street, collecting them for later use, but they were never published during her lifetime.

Susan Lamb, m.d. of Orion Fiction, said: "Maeve often talked to me about Chestnut Street and would give me an update on what was happening to her characters. So it is especially exciting that these stories will be published for me) plus her millions of other fans."

The hardback ail be published on 8th May next year.
