Knox Book Has Modest Start; 'Gatsby' Hot 

Amanda Knox's Waiting to Be Heard debuted as the #1 nonfiction hardcover, but #9 on the bestseller list overall, selling 21,264 copies, according to Nielsen BookScan, for the week ending May 5. Between two editions, including a new movie tie-in edition, The Great Gatsby sold 43,866 copies. more »



Two Michigan Bookstores Win 2013 Pannell Awards
The Women’s National Book Association has announced that two Michigan booksellers are this year’s winners of the Pannell Award, given annually to two bookstores – one general and one children’s specialty store – that excel in bringing books and young people together. The general bookstore winner is Nicola’s Books in Ann Arbor, and the children’s specialty winner is Bookbug in Kalamazoo. more » »
