Sir Alex Ferguson's Last Season Marked By New Book On His Season Of Wonder

Press Release via Book2Book Thursday 09 May 2013

To mark the 15th anniversary of Manchester United's legendary 1998-99 season when the club won the Premier League, the FA Cup and Champions League, Arena Sport will be publishing SEASON OF WONDER: MANCHESTER UNITED'S HISTORIC TREBLE by Daniel Harris.

Season of Wonder relives those breathless moments on a month-by-month basis, delving into the training ground, the dressing room, into the minds of the players, management and coaches, and out onto the pitch with what was a special team, and the last of its type. Comprised of homegrown players with a smattering of northern Europeans, it was the last to truly represent and connect with its support.

THE AUTHORDaniel Harris is an author, journalist and broadcaster. He was shortlisted for best new writer at the British Sports Book Awards for On The Road: A Journey Through a Season, which follows United through the 2009-10 season. He has written leaders, features and interviews for various broadsheets; writes on football for The Guardian; appears on Sky News' paper review; is a regular guest on Sports Tonight Live, and has just finished his first novel. He was fortunate enough to witness in person a large proportion of games in that glorious treble season. He is available for interview.
