Down, but not out!

Graham will be out of action for a few days due to a minor traffic accident while riding his Vespa.

He has broken some ribs (7 of them), but is in good spirits. Doctors are telling him he will be out of action for at least the next 3 days.

Stay tuned…

Don't rush it back to riding then, good luck for a speedy recovery. We will all miss your present I'm sure.

Oh, poor you! Huge sympathies. So glad you survived, and here is a portable curse for anyone who deliberately tries to make you laugh.

Seven ribs really does seem excessive, Graham - and on the eve of the Auckland Writers and Readers Festival! Do get better soon.

Dear Graham - so sorry to read of this and I like the curse Joan has invoked - no laughing for a wee while. Hope the ribs knit back together quickly.

So sorry to hear about this. I only realised how much your blog has become a regular part of my life when it wasn't there this morning. Sending lots of good healing vibes from the northern hemisphere.

Hi Mr B

Ouch! Curl up with a few books while you recuperate and don't hesitate to get back on your Vespa when the sawbones give you the green light.
