Auckland Writers & Readers Festival announce second Edward Rutherfurd session

Fans of the grand master of historical fiction, Edward Rutherfurd, need to get in quick to see him at the Auckland Writers & Readers Festival later this month. His first session, A Tale of Paris, chaired by Jim Mora, is already sold out.

Due to demand the Festival has created a second session. Tickets are available for a Friday 17 May event, 1pm (Lower NZI Room, Aotea Centre) and can be purchased from The Edge website.

In his latest novel Paris, which went on sale this week, Rutherfurd illuminates Paris as only he can: capturing the romance and everyday drama of the men and women who, in two thousand years, transformed a humble trading post on the muddy banks of the Seine into the most celebrated city in the world. This is the epic novel of the city of love, the city of splendour, the city of dreams.
Edward Rutherfurd’s Friday session will be chaired by Auckland book seller, reviewer and book champion Doris Mousdale.
