HE The British High Commissioner, Mrs Vicki Treadell, has generously offered the use of Homewood to the Link Foundation Friends on Wednesday 10th August, for afternoon tea from 3pm to 5pm.
Gerri Kimber is in Wellington this winter from the UK to collaborate with Vincent O'Sullivan on a definitive edition of the collected fiction of Katherine Mansfield. They have kindly agreed to talk to Friends on this project, and the interaction of the author’s New Zealand and UK worlds.
Gerri is an Associate Lecturer at The Open University. She is also Chair of the Katherine Mansfield Society and author of a number of books and articles on both Mansfield and literary modernism. The NZ-UK Link Foundation is helping Gerri in providing for her visit.
Vincent O’Sullivan is, of course, one of our best known poets, short story writers, novelists, playwrights, critics and editors.
$10 per person for Friends, $12.00 for guests. Limited places available.
Homewood is at 50 Homewood Avenue Karori.
Please note, there is no parking within Homewood grounds
