A Latitude of Libraries - a message from Claire Gummer
I am a former journalist and bookseller (the Women's Bookshop) and, after six years on the staff at Random House, currently freelance as a book editor. I invite you and your readers to visit my new blog, A Latitude of Libraries, at http://librarylatitude.blogspot.com/.
My idea — and it turns out I'm not the only one to have had it — is to visit all the public libraries in the new Auckland 'supercity' in a year, and to blog about the experience. In my first post I introduce myself and the project, and manage to expose an error of Encyclopaedia Britannica in the process!
All best wishes, and many thanks,
Claire Gummer
Footnote:
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging Claire, and congratulations on your first post. The Bookman wishes you well but warns that blogging can become totally addictive!
