Lisa Gardner wins 2010 Thriller Award
The International Thriller Writers association gathered in New York over the weekend for its annual awards, which honour the best thrillers of the previous year.
The Orion division of Hachette NZ are thrilled to announce that Lisa Gardner took out the award for Best Novel for The Neighbour.
Gardner was up against stiff competition, including fellow Orion superstars Harlan Coben and Linwood Barclay.
It’s great timing with The Neighbour released into paperback this month. In it Detective D.D. Warren returns in a case guaranteed to spark a media feeding frenzy—a beautiful young mother has disappeared from her South Boston home, leaving behind her four-year-old daughter as the only witness and her handsome, secretive husband as the prime suspect.
Lisa Gardner’s ever-growing fan base also has a new novel to look forward to in August with the release of Live to Tell, another D.D. Warren story, who this time around is on the hunt for a family annihilator.
