Invitation to hear current Randell Cottage writer in residence, Pat White, speak at Wellington Branch NZ Society of Authors meeting
Special meeting to hear New Zealand Poet, Essayist, Biographer and Randell Cottage Writer Pat White

Pat White's writing is centred squarely on his interest in the natural environment and rural life, and ranges widely from poetry to biography. His collection of essays How the Land Lies is to be published by VUP later this year. He has published a number of poetry collections, and as the Creative New Zealand Randell Cottage writer in Thorndon is working on a biography of Peter Hooper, a West Coast writer and fellow environmentalist.
Pat will talk about researching and writing the Hooper biography and what he's gained from his time in the Randell Cottage, as well as reading from his poetry and other work including How the Land Lies.
