Two New Holland New Zealand titles shortlisted for the 2010 Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Awards

The winning streak continues for Julie Biuso and her latest book, Never-ending Summer.

Julie Biuso’s Never-ending Summer has been nominated as a finalist (best softcover recipe book) in the prestigious 2010 Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Awards, along with another New Holland title, It’s My Turn to Cook (best children’s cookbook) by Margaret Brooker.

Julie’s website, www.juliebiuso.com has also been shortlisted, in the Best Food/Drink Website/Blog category. Previous winner in this category was the BBC for their Get Cooking site.

The nomination for Never-ending Summer is Julie’s third book nomination at these awards. Her media columns have also had previous success, with two nominations and a Golden Ladle (the ultimate prize in each category) for her work in Home & Entertaining in 2005.

In advising of the shortlisting for both Never-ending Summer and It’s My Turn to Cook, the organisers of the World Food Media Awards said: “This nomination by members of our jury of more than 50 eminent industry professionals around the world represents the belief that your entry is among the highest achievements in this field over the last two-and-a-half years.”

All nominees will be acknowledged, along with the ultimate category winners, at an award ceremony held during Tasting Australia in Adelaide on 3 May.
