Authors including M C Beaton, Simon Brett and Michael Jecks will be attending the Sleuths: English Riviera Festival of Crime & Thriller Writing in Torbay, Devon.

The festival, which had its first year last year, will be held from 20th to 25th April. Nine authors will be discussing their books at the event. There will also be an exclusive dinner at Agatha Christie's house, a murder mystery dinner on a steam train, a couple of writing workshops and the regional awards ceremony for The Young Crime Writers 2010.

Matthew Clarke,(left), co owner of The Torbay Bookshop and one of the main event organisers, said: "Building on our inaugural year in 2009, we are delighted to welcome nine authors including Marion Chesney aka M C Beaton, Simon Brett, Michael Jecks and a return visit from Bernard Knight."

'Sleuths' is run in partnership with Torbay Libraries and the English Riviera Tourist Board plus over twelve other businesses in Torbay.
