This is the renowned litblog founded and run by Mark Sarvas from Los Angeles. He has just paid his first visit to New Zealand to participate in the Christchurch Writers Festival last weekend, both as an author and a blogger. His reaction to Christchurch, the Festival, and its audiences is an interesting one.
Link here to visit his blog and see what he has to say. And remember he gets between 7000-10,000 hits a day.
To put that into perspective I get around 1000 hits a day! Sadly I didn't get the chance to talk to Mark after the panel discussion but you can read my comments on that panel . And you can get another view from the Christchurch City Libraries bloogers.
Mark's first novel, recently published, Harry,Revised , (Text Publishing - NZ$37), has received critical acclaim including a comment from John Banville that it was "a remarkable debut".
Read the NZ Listener review here.
Philip Matthews interviewed Mark for The Press and you can read that piece here.
