Iconic New Zealand fashion designer, Denise L’Estrange-Corbet, has had quite a week. Her WORLD show received a standing ovation when it kicked off Air New Zealand Fashion Week on Tuesday 16 September, grabbing front-page headlines and taking the fashion glitterati by storm.
Today, Denise’s candid memoir, All That Glitters, published two weeks ago, has gone straight into the number two slot on the bestsellers chart for New Zealand Non-Fiction.
Denise had this to say about her literary gong: “It’s been an amazing week for me; I’m completely overwhelmed by the response I’ve had to the publication of All That Glitters, the first book I’ve ever written and I’m just thrilled.”
Jenny Hellen, Non-Fiction Publisher Random House New Zealand, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted with the sales of All That Glitters. We’re zooming through our initial print run, reorders are incredibly strong and we expect to reprint very soon.”
All That Glitters - Random House New Zealand - $36.99.
All royalties from the sale of the book will go to the Mental Health Foundation.
