- Our Autumn/Winter programme 2016 is now open to book. This season marks the start of a new partnership between the RSL and the British Library. Our first event is Rose Tremain in conversation on 29 September.
- We are delighted to announce that the RSL is now administering the £10,000 Encore Award for the best second novel of the year. First presented in 1990, the Award fills a niche in the catalogue of literary prizes by celebrating the achievement of outstanding second novels. The Award is generously sponsored by Lucy Astor.
