Reviews 'Duty' After the "New York Times" reported on the revelations in former Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates's memoir on January 8, pre-orders pushed the book, to be published on January 14, to the #1 spot on Amazon's print list.
The initial printing on "Duty" was 140,000, and Knopf has since gone back to press three times prior to publication, with 190,000 copies currently in print. Gates will appear in his first broadcast interview on CBS "Sunday Morning" on January 12.
