Aspects of Reality often challenges our expectations of language/reality, to the point of surrealism.
A surrealism that often notes the difference between the tired, unresponsive LANGUAGE of our time and the closer-to-the-source LANGUAGE in which the world lives.
A book that is full of people and things. A book that sets its own standard of what lives through its aspects of perception.

This is the 10th book of poems by John O’Connor.

About the Author
Twice winner of the open section, and winner of the haiku section of the New Zealand Poetry Society International Poetry Competition, John O’Connor’s poems have been very widely published both in New Zealand and overseas. In 2001 he was awarded a Museum of Haiku Literature Award (Tokyo) for “best of issue” in Frogpond International, a special issue of Frogpond (US) featuring haiku from 56 countries and language communities.
