THE ARROWTOWN COLLECTION - Garrick Tremain

If you are fortunate enough to visit the gorgeously picturesque village of Arrowtown as I was recently then this book is the perfect memento to take home with you. The artist has captured the place perfectly.
About the artist:

Garrick Tremain is highly regarded both as a painter and as one of New Zealand’s funniest and most perceptive political cartoonist.  Since 1972 he has been a full time professional painter and in 1988 decided to add the string of political cartooning to his bow.
His political cartoons are now published three times a week in the Otago Daily Times. He lives in New Zealand’s Wakatipu Basin, where he shares life with his wife, Jill, and their two cats. This book reflects his fascination with both the environment and history of nearby Arrowtown.
A couple of pictures from the book are below. The quality of the reproduction on my blog do not do justice to the quality of Tremain's superb work but they will give you an idea of his most appealing style.

Published by Garrick Tremain.
