The Stefan's Diaries trilogy will serve as a prequel to L.J. Smith's original Vampire Diaries novels and the Alloy Entertainment television series. Both chronicle the supernatural adventures of Elena Gilbert.
The prequel will follow Stefan Salvatore, a vampire feuding with his older brother. Stefan's Diaries #1: Origins will explain the detailed story behind the animosity. Hint: it has something to do with a girl.
Here's more about the new series: "Fans of the hit television show The Vampire Diaries will finally find out how a passionate romance with a dangerous girl turned loving brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore into deadly enemies.
