AUGUST NEWS FLASH FROM THE CREATIVE HUB!

We are now located in the Waterfront Rooms at the Maritime Museum on Princes Wharf, and our Spring classes will be held with a view of the sparkling Waitemata.

We are delighted to welcome Tessa Duder, Owen Marshall, Graham Reid, Paula Morris, Russell Brown to our advisory board. We’re privileged to have writers of such talent helping steer the Creative Hub
We begin our Fiction Course and our Travel Writing Course in September (below) in our new venue.

Our Advanced Fiction course that began in March has been sizzling along, and we have had inspiring workshops from Roger Hall, Paula Morris, Martin Edmond and Tina Shaw.
Over the next few months we welcome Sarah Laing, Maggie Tarver, Tessa Duder, Judith White and Linda Olsson who bring their special talent and skills to our classes. We repeat this course next year.
A little known fact – Maggie Tarver (CEO of the Society of Authors) is also an accomplished screenplay writer, director and actor.

One of our students, Paula Herbst, has launched our Facebook page, and we’d love you to join this salon for  the literary-minded. The most stimulating / entertaining / contribution posted before the 20th  of this month wins a bottle of Moet and Chandon champagne.
Our Facebook portal is on our homepage at www.thecreativehub.net.nz. Be in to win a bottle of bubbly!

Good writing,
John  Cranna, Director
