ROGER PARSONS ART BOOKS NEWSLETTER

It is now 35 years since Helen and I opened Parsons Bookshop in Auckland.  Initially we were a smaller version of Parsons Wellington - a broad based serious bookshop.  My father, Roy Parsons, provided the expertise (and some of the start up capital).  Gradually the shop evolved into the specialist bookshop of today, concentrating on our two passions, art and New Zealand books.  The revolution in New Zealand publishing has brought us enormous pleasure.  Half of our stock is now New Zealand published.
Included in this newsletter are details of new books on John Pule, Peter Robinson, Darryn George and Francis Upritchard.  Also many new overseas catalogues on Gorky, Ofili, Moore, Renoir, Alice Neel, Orozco, Picasso, Barbara Rae and Maurizio Cattelan.  Plus Biennale catalogues from Sydney, Adelaide and Whitney.
