Sainsbury's to Halt Print Sales Online : Sainsbury’s will stop selling physical books online by the end of February. The supermarket’s website will move to a completely on demand model in March 2014 after the retailer admitted it sees future online opportunities as lying solely in “digital products."

Bezos Airlifted from Galapagos : Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was airlifted on January 1 by an Ecuadorian Navy helicopter because of a medical emergency caused by kidney stones, according to Drew Herdener, a spokesman for the Seattle-based company. Bezos was on a cruise of the Pacific Ocean archipelago.
