You are warmly invited to the launch Horse with Hat, by Marty Smith
on Saturday 15 February, 4pm-6pm
at Thistle Inn, 3 Mulgrave St, Thorndon, Wellington.
The poems in this debut collection look at family feuds, the effects of
WWII on returned servicemen and their families, and the long relationship
between horse and human.
Cover and illustrations are by Brendan O'Brien.
Horse with Hat will
be launched by Damien Wilkins. The launch will also feature musical
performances by Garam Jung (sax) Armand Gerbault (keyboard) and Henry
Schofield (bass and keyboard)
and by JAM - Julia Morris, Amy Barnard and Maude Morris.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase courtesy of Vic Books.
