International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF)

The world’s leading prize for the Arabic novel, the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF), will be announcing its 2013 winner on Tuesday 23 April at 4.20pm (BST) on the eve of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

The winner of this prestigious prize will be selected from the six shortlisted novels, and revealed at a ceremony held at The Rocco Forte Hotel, Abu Dhabi. The six contenders are:

IPAF is an annual literary prize for prose fiction in Arabic. It is commonly known as the ‘Arabic Booker’ due to its association with the Booker Prize Foundation. It is by the TCA Abu Dhabi in the UAE.
