Simon & Schuster has announced it will publish the memoir by former US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice on 1st November.
No Higher Honour will be published simultaneously in the UK, US and Canada as a hardback, e-book and audiobook. The book will give Rice's insight into her time working in the Bush administration after the events of 9/11 and during the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The publisher said: "Surprisingly candid in her narrative of administration colleagues, as well as the hundreds of foreign leaders with whom she dealt including Tony Blair, Rice offers in No Higher Honour a masterclass in statecraft and diplomacy in a way that reveals her essential warmth and humility, and her deep reverence for the ideals on which America was founded."
Rice served as the United States' first female National Security Advisor from 2001 to 2004.
