Daniel Radcliffe wore his Harry Potter attire for the last time this week as shooting wrapped on the final installment of the series.
"Everyone was really devastated. It was really, really sad," Radcliffe said. "Were crying quite a lot."
He talked about Potter as he arrived at Radio City Music Hall for the 64th Annual Tony Awards, where he and Katie Holmes presented the best featured actress in a play award to Scarlett Johansson.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released in two parts with the first installment coming out later this year, and the finale next summer.
When asked how it felt to end his role as the boy wizard, Radcliffe said, "It's a weird, weird feeling".
Radcliffe, who starred in a revival of Equus in 2008, returns to Broadway next spring in a revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
