Penguin has filled one of the two positions vacated by David Davidar, who recently resigned as president of the company’s Canadian and international divisions because of a sexual harassment suit.
Andrew Phillips, deputy CEO of the illustrated publisher DK, will take over as president of Penguin International. He will supervise Penguin’s operations in Africa, the Middle East and India out of an office in Delhi.
The announcement was made Tuesday by London-based Penguin chairman and CEO John Makinson.
