Penguin to "celebrate" Francis
16.02.10 | Graeme Neill in The Bookseller
Penguin plans to "celebrate" the life of thriller writer Dick Francis with the publication of the last novel he completed before he died at the weekend.
In September, the publisher will still go ahead as planned with publication of Crossfire, which Francis wrote with his son Felix. Details on the book are scarce although it has been completed.
Michael Joseph publicity director Clare Pollock said: "We will be marketing it in a big way given that Dick was one of the great thriller writers of his generation. We plan to celebrate a truly great thriller writer."
And today an obituary in the New York Times.
